Kristine Jubeck is a barefoot rehab specialist who is certified through Progressive Hoof Care Practitioners who has been trimming horses since 2020. She is also able to fit boots and use boots in various applications for many brands. She trims horses on site once per month. She also boards her personal horses at Empty Pockets Ranch so she could be available for more frequent work or to look into any issues that arise outside of that monthly appointment.
Coohey Veterinary Services out of Cascade is our chosen veterinarian. They provide routine care to our horses. Additionally, Dr. Madison Esker is a 2023 graduate of Iowa State University's College of Veterinary Medicine, she completed a rigorous internship at Pine Ridge Equine Hospital in Glenpool, Oklahoma, where she developed a strong foundation in equine medicine and surgery.
Dr. Esker has a particular interest in podiatry and describes herself as a “hoof nerd” — she even trims her own horse’s feet! Her enthusiasm for all things hoof-related makes her a valuable asset for our clients seeking thoughtful, detail-oriented care in this area. She also has an interest in equine nutrition and enjoys using a whole-horse approach when formulating feeding plans and wellness strategies. She especially enjoys diagnosing and treating lameness cases and is excited to expand our service offerings with veterinary spinal manipulation therapy (commonly referred to as chiropractic). Dr. Esker is certified as a Veterinary Medical Manipulation Practitioner (CVMMP) from Chi University in Reddick, Florida. Dr. Esker knows about track systems and is a supporter of them!
Chole Lansing is a certified equine bodyworker who uses multiple modalities to help horses feel their best. This can be rehab or helping achieve peak performance.
Emma is a saddle fitter who also makes tack. She is a wealth of knowledge on horse husbandry, biomechanics of horse and rider, and ensures your tack is fitting appropriately. She has been fitting tack since 2014. Our tack lockers are designed with some of Emma's pointers learned over the years to make sure your tack lasts as long as possible! This includes how saddles are stored, allowing ventilation around tack, and keeping it climate controlled. She is also able to make custom tack and repair broken pieces as well.
These professionals are like-minded and understand tracks and the wellbeing of the horse.
You are, of course, welcome to use anyone you want for your horse's care and we will support you in that. An extra charge may be incurred if you want us to handle your horse for appointments with other professionals.
